The Foxes Almshouses offers four characterful one-bedroom homes set in Corve Steet Ludlow near to Local Amenities and Services. These Grade II listed buildings are full of historical charm, with period features preserved and sympathetically modernised to meet contemporary living standards. Part of the Hosyer-Foxe Charity portfolio, Foxes Almshouses properties are self-contained with access to a rear communal garden. The charity is governed by a Board of Trustees and supported by a Clerk and Facilities Manager who ensure that the buildings are maintained to a high standard and that residents feel safe, supported and respected.
History
The Foxes Almshouses were founded by Charles Foxe, a prominent Ludlow figure who, in 1593, endowed charity to support poor and elderly people in the local community.
