History

Sir Job Charlton who was a notable legal figure in 17th-century England who served as a judge and Speaker of the House of Commons, rebuilt the almshouse on the present site in 1672.

These Grade II listed buildings are full of historical charm, with period features preserved and sympathetically modernised to meet current living standards.
