Hosyers Almshouses provide thoughtfully maintained accommodation in a quiet, central Ludlow location. The building has been modernised to meet current safety and accessibility standards, while still retaining its historical character and sense of place.
The building contains 14 individual homes, made up of:
- One two-bedroom flat
- Six one-bedroom flats
- Seven bedsits
All homes are self-contained, allowing residents to live independently and with privacy.
Each is fitted with:
- A 24-hour emergency call system
- Access to communal broadband and network facilities
- Central heating
- Secure entry systems and up-to-date fire safety provisions
The building also features:
- A lift to upper floors
- A communal laundry room
- A shared community room with a small kitchen
- A peaceful garden space to the rear
Pets are not allowed without the permission of the Trustees
Car parking facilities are not provided
The Charities Facilities Manager visits the properties on a regular basis and is able to help residents with welfare issues and deal with routine maintenance enquiries.
