Governance & qualifying criteria
The flats are available to individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Aged 55 or over
- In need of housing
- Normally resident in the parish of Ludlow or surrounding area.
- Must be able to live independently
How to apply :
The application process involves completing a short application form, attending a meeting with the Trustees or Clerk, and possibly providing references or supporting documents.
Decisions are made based on need, suitability for communal living, and availability of accommodation.
Successful applicants are appointed under a Letter of Appointment (rather than a tenancy agreement) which defines the residents’ rights and responsibilities while offering a long-term, secure place to live.
Residents contribute a monthly maintenance payment, which covers running costs and upkeep of the buildings.
Those on low income may be eligible for support through Housing Benefit or Universal Credit, and the Facilities Manager is available to assist with any benefit applications.
If you wish to be considered for a property you can either contact the Clerk of the Trustees, The Facilities Manager or complete and forward the application form.
